Information and application

The bwHPC project provides universities and universities of applied sciences in Baden-Württemberg with computing capacity for data-intensive computing and scientific data management on a large scale.

In addition to the provision of resources, user support is also a core task of bwHPC. In essence, the federated, scientific user support is linked to seven bwHPC competence centres, each dedicated to specific research areas and supplemented by a multidisciplinary team for user support across research areas. The competence centres and the multidisciplinary team consist of teams of experts from Baden-Württemberg's universities who combine knowledge and expertise in HPC with a focus on the designated scientific domains.
