International Teaching Week

Programme

Participants of the Teaching Week have the opportunity to hold and attend lectures. In addition, they can participate in the programme of the Training Week.

Teaching

Lectures as part of the regular study programme in Business, Science and Technology.

You have the opportunity to hold guest lectures in our  bachelor's or master's dregree programmes. Our programmes are from a broad range of fields within the areas of Business, Science and Technology. Please feel free to take a look at our programmes to see whether your specialist area could enhance them.

After your application, we will match you with an Esslingen or Göppingen professor, who will be your "academic host" during the International Teaching Week. You will coordinate the content and scope of your guest lectures with your hosting professor.

Lectures as part of the "Sudium Generale"

Alternatively, you can offer a lecture as part the "Studium Generale". Studium Generale courses (sometimes also called contextual studies, general studies, fundamental studies or universal studies) are mostly non-compulsory, public courses at a university. The Studium Generale belongs to the long tradition of humanistic education in Germany, and today embody the mission of universities to promote comprehensive general education.  The Studium Generale is focused on promoting both interdisciplinary dialogue and networking, especially between the sciences and the humanities. The heart of the programme is a series of comprehensive talks, panel discussions, and lectures with national and international guests who join local scholars in discussing up-to-date research in their respective fields. All events are public.

Application

The Online Application will open on 1st April.

Selection process

All applicants will be informed within 4 weeks after their application.
